Feeding The Community Takes Support
With the support of the community, Second Helping NWA has been able to fulfill a great need when it comes to food.
It's A We Thing!
It all started with a vision and a dream to help people. Thanks to the many donors, community members, companies and organizations; Second Helping has become a melting pot of community support throughout Northwest Arkansas. During one of the most troubling times in our history, I found out people really do need each other and I won’t go to sleep until each person, or family who needs a meal is provided one for years to come. I also want to thank Todd Robertson of Robertson Media, for putting this video together, If you need his services, his website information is www.robertsonpromedia.com. The community is making this happen, I am just the messenger.
Let's Keep Feeding The Community Yall
Boys & Girls Club
Second Helping NWA is pleased to partner with organizations such as the local Boys & Girls Club here in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Our mission aligns with that of the Boys & Girls Club. We want to make food accessible to families and kids in our area. This partnership is a true example of community connection and empowerment to affect change for the future.
Doing What I Love
A wise man once said, if a man does what he loves, then he does not have to work. Feeding the community comes so natural to me. I was raised to care about others by my mother. She instilled in me, hard work and gratitude. She always said “If you can help, then you should”! We are facing uncertain times during COVID-19, which means there are so many people who need food, so for me, I will continue to fight this fight with something that comes to me naturally, BBQ! If you want to help me in my fight please do so, every donation goes to feeding those who may not be able to, especially during this pandemic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Natural State Pest Control
Second Helping NWA was excited to partner with Trent Ragar, the owner at Natural State Pest Control. We were able to feed 80 families with Trent’s $1,000 matching donation towards meals for the community. This was a great event for Second Helping and the great people of Northwest Arkansas.
