Outreach Assistance
At Second Helping NWA, community comes first.
We are grateful for the support we have received from our community, which has allowed us to expand our mission and create a platform for distributing valuable information.
In the Northwest Arkansas region, there are numerous programs, events, and organizations that offer resources and opportunities, but often go unnoticed. This is where Second Helping NWA seeks to help.
We want to ensure that residents in our communities are aware of the available resources. Through our Outreach Assistance Program, we partner with community-oriented organizations that have limited marketing budgets, helping them expand their reach for their programs, events, or resources.
Sharing information is crucial for maintaining a healthy community ecosystem, and we aim to utilize our platforms and audience to contribute to this ecosystem of shared information.

Feed The Fight
With our Feed the Fight program, events are catered at a discounted rate.
This program can be utilized for groups, organizations and/or institutions whose events aim to cultivate awareness and raise funds for their causes.
Eligible clients seeking to utilize this program are subject to our Positive Community Awareness Screening. This screening assures that clients utilizing our program hold values that are inclusive to everyone regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation.
We require that each client seeking to utilize this program maintain transparency in their ability to pay for service as funds from this program are used to further Second Helping NWA’s mission to feed underserved communities.

Sponsor An Event
Our Sponsor An Event Program gives you the opportunity to give back by way of sponsoring an existing Second Helping NWA event or organizing your own event in collaboration with Second Helping NWA. With choosing to support with our Sponsor An Event Program, you have the option to do so anonymously or choose to be featured as a sponsor.
Please note: $10 will supply 1 person with a meal consisting of 2-meat and 2-sides.

Latchkey Cooking with Chef Nate
Our Latchkey Program is an enhanced approach to cooking aimed support your child’s overall well-being.
It is a program designed to be an ideal form of additional support for parents who work untraditional hours.
With this program, your child will benefit from learning a basic understanding of cooking as well as engage in conversations focused on life-skills in addition to receiving mentoring throughout the program.
Parents and Chef Nate will work together to determine the most suitable duration for enrollment in the Latchkey Cooking Program, based on each child’s individual needs.
